Q: When can my bike be fixed?

A: We fix most bikes within one to two business days of your call or email to make an appointment. We have flexible work hours and can come to your home or office in the evening or on the weekend if that is more convenient for you.

Q: Where will my bike be fixed?

A: We fix most bikes on the spot, be it at your house, office or somewhere in between. If more major repairs are required than is reasonable to do on location, your bike will be brought back to The Shoppe, repaired, and returned to you.

Q: Do you Have to fix my bike at my door?

A: No. You can request that we do a Pick UP and Return service. We will come get your bike, take it back to The Shoppe and repair it, then return it to you. We realize that it is not convenient for some people to have a repair man outside their front door working on their bike.

Q: Will you repair my bike in my back yard?

A: Yes we can go in your back yard to fix your bike. We require that any pets be restrained and that there be a well lit and sufficient work space to perform the repair. We reserve the right to refuse working on your bike if conditions are unsafe or otherwise unsuitable for performing the service. In such a case we would do a Pick UP and Return service.

Q: Will you repair my bike even if I'm not home?

A: Yes we can make arrangements to fix your bike in your absence. When the appointment is made we will ask you for a detailed description of the bike and the problem(s) to be fixed. We may ask you to email us pictures of the bike to be able to give you an accurate price quote. We will expect payment immediately following the bike service. Please make sure there is a way for us to get a check or cash in your absence.  

Q: Do you give discounts for referrals?

A: Yes we do. Please see the GTY Referral Program link on the left for further information. 

Q: Can I bring my bike to you?

A: Gears To You is the bike shop that comes to you. However, we will meet you at a specified location/time to pick up/return your bike. Convenience is what we're all about, and we realize this might be easier for some people. 

Q: Do you accept credit cards?

A: We are able to accept credit card payments through PayPal payments. Even if you do not have a PayPal account we can still receive payment from you through PayPal. Of course, if you do have a PayPal account it makes it that much easier.
